I helped make this one

Wonderful to drink this bottle on Saturday night, having helped pick the grapes all those years ago. While working as deputy editor at Decanter Magazine, I spent two hard-working weeks hand-picking grapes, and working in the winery at Domaine Rollin in Pernand Vergelesses. Lovely Pinot flavour – wine stood up well – though definitely time to drink it now.
